Alex Williams is the Founder and Creative Director of The Creative Cornerstone and owner of Creativity Evolved Studios. A seasoned professional with over two decades in photography and film, Alex began his career creating music videos before expanding into documentaries and feature films, with work featured on platforms like Amazon Prime. Hailing from an underrepresented community, he understands the challenges young creatives face and uses his experience to open doors for others. Through his studio and nonprofit leadership, Alex mentors emerging artists, providing them with the skills, resources, and confidence to succeed in the media arts. His personal journey from humble beginnings to industry recognition serves as a powerful inspiration, guiding the next generation to realize their creative potential.

Miriam Williams brings over two decades of experience in business operations, financial management, and technology support to her role as Board Secretary and Acting Treasurer. Based in Atlanta, GA, Miriam has built a multifaceted career spanning real estate, business consulting, and IT systems analysis. As a licensed  Associate Broker, she specializes in investment, multifamily and residential acquisitions.

Miriam has held key consulting roles with nonprofit and educational organizations where she developed strategic business and marketing initiatives to support community revitalization and wealth-building programs. Her financial expertise is rooted in her work as an Accounts Manager, where she managed payroll systems, prepared financial reports, and supported CPA audits.

With a strong foundation in technology from her early career at Eastman Kodak as an IT Subject Matter Expert, Miriam is adept at bridging the gap between technical systems and operational execution.

Miriam’s diverse skill set, attention to detail, and commitment to organizational excellence make her a vital asset to the board’s governance, financial oversight, and strategic planning initiatives.

Queen Williams is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of The Creative Cornerstone. With expertise in strategic communications, social media, and traditional marketing, Queen leads branding and outreach efforts that connect youth programs with the community. She has successfully guided campaigns for businesses and nonprofits across Mecklenburg County, bringing a creative vision and results-driven approach to every project. At The Creative Cornerstone, Queen champions programs that empower youth through film, photography, and music production, ensuring they gain the skills, confidence, and exposure to thrive in creative industries

​Actor, writer and director Keya Hamilton grew up in a home where music and creative expression were at its center. She is best known for her role in the Hallmark movie Christmas in Harmony. Keya began her adult acting career in theater, touring the US, performing in stage plays and transitioning into film in 2012. After working for and being inspired by Kelly Fremon Craig and James L. Brooks on the feature film, Are You There God, It's Me Margaret, she decided to take the plunge into directing. In 2023, she made her directorial debut with the documentary short Creating Sentenced to Pray and the romantic comedy It Had to Be You. Keya has also completed the Proof of concept film The Conversation. Keya is the owner of Key Casting and Productions, the provider of casting, consulting, screenwriting, producing and directing services. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization The Creative Cornerstone, supporting emerging artists and creatives.
